HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 052561H - Pavement Improvements - Hodges And Tierney - Glenridge Addition - 05_25_1961 3 RE S OLUT ION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Glenridge Addition, made arrangements with Hodges and Tierney for the construction of paving improvements on certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Glenridge including the following street: 52nd Street from its intersection with a line 15.0 feet west of the west property line of Joliet Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.0 feet east of the east property line of Knoxville Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 548-B. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovementioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Enginee , and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. Senter, Jr., City e CITY OF LUBBOCK �QCK.'� TEXAS May 25, 1961 Honorable Mayor and City Commission Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have.examined the paving improvements constructed by Hodges and.Tierney, paving contractor, under their contract with -the subdividers of Glenridge Addition and find the improvements on 52nd Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
