RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO VICTORY BAPTIST CHURCH FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBE IN THIS RESOLUTION. 2 WHEREAS, there is an alley along the West side of the.Victory Baptist Church Addition fully described as follows: A parcel of land out of Section 3, Block E, Lubbock_-'County, Texas, more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the West line of Lot 1, Victory Baptist Church Addition, said point being 113 fet t South of the Northwest corner of said Addition; THENCE South 93.5 feet to a point; THENCE East 10 feet to a point; THENCE North 93.5 feet to a point; THENCE West 10 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. WHEREAS, it appears that said alley is abandoned as a public way; and, WHEREAS, it appears to the best interests of the City and the general'. public that said property hereinabove described be conveyed to Victory Baptist' Church by a Quit Claim Deed; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute a Quit-Claim Deed conveying the property as hereinabove described to the Victory Baptist Church.
