Home My WebLink AboutResolution - 012661F - Quit Claim Deed-C&G Construction Co.-Utility Easement, L102 Benhall Mannor Add - 01_26_1961 H RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THE EAST TWO FEET OF LOT 102, BENHALL MANOR ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. r WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock, Texas, a municipal corporation has an " underground electric easement on the East two feet of Lot 102, Benhall. Manor �.. ! Addition, Lubbock, Texas; and, WHEREAS, Clay Putnam, doing business as C. & G. Construction Company has requested abandonment of said easement and for a quit claim deed to the property from the City of Lubbock, Texas, to him; and, WHEREAS, said Clay Putnam has executed an easement West of the location the easement now held by said city; and, WHEREAS, it appears to the best interests of the city and its inhabitants for said city to abandon the easement aforesaid and to execute a,quit claim deed to Clay Putnam; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed conveying whatever interest the City has in the East 2 fett of Lot 102, Benhall Manor Addition, Lubbock Texas, to the said Clay Putnam. Passed this the 26th day of January, 1961.
