RESOLUTION ACCEPTING 7MMOMENTS ON PCRTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW:
WBEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 13.31, the subdivider of Zora Addition (Lots I through 10), made
arrangements with Kerr Paving Company for the construction of paving improvements
on certain streets- dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Zora Addition.
(Lots I through 10) including the following streets:
North 1/2 of 26th Street from its intersection with the South Property Line of
Lot 9, Zara Addition to its intersection with a line 28 feet East of the West
Property Line of Quinton Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number' Ns 789.
We of Quinton Avenue from its intersection with a line 18 feet North of
th 1�2:t for
th Property .Line of 26th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet
North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 26th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number NS 7920
AND WHOYAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have
been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with
the provisions of City ordinance 1331.
TIEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on'said portions of the abovementioned streets be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
11.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr
Paving Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the
subdividers of Zora Addition and find the improvements on the North
1/2 of 26th Street and the West 1/2 of Quinton Avenue as listed on
the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improve-
ments on said streets and avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor
the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as
due them by the City of Lubbock,
