RESOLLM ION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMNTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW-.
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331., the subdivider of Drury Park Addition, made arrangements
with West Texas Construction Co. for the construction of paving improvements
on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Drury Park
Addition including the following streets:
Curb & Gutter on South 1/2 of .50th Street from its intersection with a line
27 feet Bast of West Property Line of Orlando Avenue to its intersection with
i the est Lot Line of Lot 10, Drury ]Park Addition,, known and designated as
New Subdivision Number 599.
51st Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet West of the Nest Property
Line of Orlando Avenue to its intersection with the West Lot Line of Lot. 30,
Drury Parr Addition, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 600.
52nd Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet West of West Property
Line of Orlando Avenue to its intersection with the West Lot Line of Lot 48,
Drury Park Addition, kznown and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 601.
53rd Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet West of West Property
Line of Orlando Avenue to its intersection with the West Lot Line of Lot: 68,
Drury Park Addition, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 602.
54th 'Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet West of Nest Property
Line of Orlando Avenue to its intersection with the West Lot Line of Lot 69,
Drury Park addition, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 603.
Orlando Avenue from its intersection with a line 17 feet North of South
Property Line of 50th Street to its intersection with the South Curb Line of
54th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit number 604.
54th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet Bast of East Property
Line of Orlando Avenue to its intersection with a line 216 feet East of East
Property Line of Orlando Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 759.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been, constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accord-
ance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.

That the improvements on said portions of the abovement;Ioned streets
be and tine same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City°s portion of the cost.

its passage...

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
West Texas Construction Co., paving contractor, under their contract
dated March 18, 1959, designated as G.W.O. 2379 and find the
improvements on 50th, 51st, 52nd, 53rd & 54th Streets; also on
Orlando kvenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or
avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown
on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by
the City of Lubbock.
