Midway Park Addition. - 10_22_1959 Z14 � RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IKPROVENENTS €7N PORTIONS GF STREETS AND/OK AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1334 the subdivider of Midway Park&ddi°tion, made arrangements with Nest Texas Construction Co. Inc., for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Midway Park Addition including the following streets: 27th Street from its intersection with the center lime of Albany Avenge to its intersection with a line 10 feet West of the center line of Slide Road, known and designated as Unit Number NS 521. 28th Street from its intersection with a line 13.98 feet Nest of the East Property Line of Albany Avenue (West Leg) to its intersection with a line 10 feet West of the center line of Slide Road, known and designated as Unit Number NS 522. Albany Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Propexty Line of 27th Street to its intersection with the South Lip Line of 26th Sheet, known and designated as Unit Number SAS 561. East one»half of Albany Avenue from its intersection vrith a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with a line 12 feet Forth of the North Property Line of 29th Street and from a line 12 feet South of the South Property Line of 29th Street to its intersection with a line 15 feeet North of the North Property Line of 30th Street, known and designated as 'Unit Xmber NS 560. West one-half of Albany Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with a lime 2.5' South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 28th Street, known and designated as. Unit Number NS 343. West one-half of Albany Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South Property Lane of the alley South of 28th Street to its intersee- tion with a line 12 feet North of the North Property Line of 29th Street and from 12 feet South of the South Property Line of 29th Street to its intersec- tion with a line 170.72 feet South of the South Property Lire of 29th Street, known and designated as Unit Number NS 591. West one-half of Slide Road from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 28th Street, known and designated as Unit Number NS 563-A. West one-half of Slide Road from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 28th Street to its intersection with a line 12 feet North of the North Property Line .of 29th Street and from 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with s line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 26th Street, known and designated as Unit Number NS 563-B. i 112&1,Sq ,AND WHEREAS, the, construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned.streets was p I arformed under the, supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected anal found to have been constructed in accordance with, City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEUS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovemeintioned streets be and the sane are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to 'direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. Alley Return @ 5.50 678.37 CONTRACT COST $ 39,741.94 CITY OF LuaeoCK QCj�;t TEXAS November 24, 1959 Honorable Mayor and City Cva ission Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by West Texas Construction Company, Inc., paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Midway Park Addition and find the improvements on 27th Street, 28th Street, Albany Avenue and Slide koad as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shorn on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
