RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MPROVEMMS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WMEAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of city
ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Indian Hills, made arrangements -with West
Texas Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements an
certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Indian Hills
including the following streets:
Has't 1/2 of Albany Avenue from its intersection with a line 121 South of the
North Property Line of 58th Street to its intersection with a line 2,51 South
of the South Property Line of the alley South of 39th Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 719.
Aberdeen Avenue from its intersection with a line 151 North of the North
Property Line of 39th Street to its intersection with a line 15' South of the
South Property Line of 38th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 720.
W� of SlideRoad (concrete only) from its intersection with a line 15' North
of the North Property Line of 38th Street to its intersection with the North
Property Line of Lot 1, Indian Hills, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Humber 721.
Ng of Slide Road (concrete only) from its intersection with a line 151 South
of the South Property Line of 39th Street to its intersection with a line
2.5' South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 39th Street, known
and designated. as New Subdivision Unit Number 722.
38th Street from its intersection with a line 12' West of the East Property
Line of Albany Avenue to its intersection with the cul-de-sac West of Slide
Road, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 723.
39th Street from its intersection with a line 121 West of the East Property
Line of Albany Avenue to its intersection with the West edge of the strip
paving on Slide Road, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 724.
AND WERREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above..
mentioned streets I as performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and foundto blve
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
TpEpmFmR, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts portion of the cost.

This resolution shall take effect and be in farce from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by West
Texas Construction Company, paving contractor, their contract dated
October 13, 1959, designated as G.M.O. 2452 under their contract with
the subdividers of Indian Hills and find the improvements on Slide
Road, 38th Street, 39th Street, Aberdeen Avenue and Albany Avenue
as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
