RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock passed resolutions on June 25, 1959,
July 9, 1959, authorizing the construction of street improvements by Kerr
Paving Company on portions of the following streets:
East 10th Street from its intersection with a line 13.9 feet West of the East
Property Line of Zenith Avenue to its intersection with a line 7 feet Northwest
of the Southwest Property Line of Beech Avenue, known and designated as Unit
Number 1941.
East loth Street from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet West of the alley
West of Zenith Avenue to its intersection with a line 8 -feet East of the East
Property Line Walnut Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit(A)of Unit 'Number
1941.
East 7th Street from its intersection with a line 6 feet East of the East
Property Line of Walnut Avenue to its intersection with a line 6 feet West of
the East Property Line of Zenith Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number
1978.
East 5th Street from its intersection with a line 6 feet East of the East
Property Line of Walnut Avenue to its intersection with a line 8 feet West of
the West Property Line of Yucca Avenue, ,known and designated as Unit Number
1979.
Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 8 feet North of the North
Property Line of East 6th Street to its intersection with a line 8 feet North
of the North Property Line of East 8th Street (West Leg), known and designated
as Unit Number 1980.
East 6th Street from its intersection with a line 6 feet East of the East
Property Line of Walnut Avenue to its intersection with a line 6 feet West of
the West Property Line of Zenith Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number
1981.
Intersection of Beech Avenue and 9th Street from its intersection with a line
8 feet South of the South Property Line of 9th Street (West Leg) to its
intersection with a line 8 feet North of the North Property Line of 9th Street
(West Leg) , known and designated as Unit Number 1983.
Intersection of Beech Avenue and 8th Street from its intersection with a line
11 feet South of the South Property Line of 8th Street (West Leg) to its
intersection with a line 11 'feet North of the North Property Line of 8th Street
(West Leg) , known and designated as Unit Number 1984.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above-
mentioned streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed
according to the approved plans and specifications.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be, and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's share.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 24TH DAY or SEPTEMBER, 1959.

Gentleman'.
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Kerr Paving Company, paving contractor, as auhhorized by
resolution passed an 25th June 1959 and 9th July 1959 and find
the improvements on East 10th, East 7th, East 5th and East 5th
Street, also Zenith and Beech Avenues, intersections of East 9th
and Beech Avenue and East 8th Street and Beech Avenue as listed
on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications and recomeend that you accept
the improvements on said streets and/or avemues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the at ached
consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
