RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVE11ENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: .
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Wilshire Park Addition, made arrangements wit
J. R. Fanning for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets
dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to
the recording of the subdivision plat of Wilshire Park Addition including the
following streets:
West one-half of Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North
of the North Property Line of East lst Place to its intersection with a line
2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of alley North of East 1st Place,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 472.
East one-half of Cherry Avenue from its intersection with the center line of
East Auburn Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North
Property Line of alley North of East Auburn Street, knawn and designated as
New Subdivision Unit Number 482.
West one-half of Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet
North of the North Property Line of the alley South of East 1st Street to its
intersection with a line 2.5. feet North of the North Property Line of alley
North of East 1st Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number
505.
East Auburn Street from its intersection with a line 11 feet West of the East
Property Line of Zenith Avenue to its intersection with a line 12 feet East of
the West Property Line of Cherry Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 539.
West one-half of Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a line 12 feet South
of the North Property Line of Parkway Drive Access Road to its intersection
with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of
East Auburn Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 540.
East one-half of Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North
of the North Property Line of East 1st Place to its intersection with a line
2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of East 1st Street,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 541.
Parkway Drive Access Road from its intersection with a line 20.85 feet East of
the East Property Line of Zenith Avenue to its intersection with a line 9 feet
West of the East Property Line of Cherry Avenue, known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 542.
East one-half of 'Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a line 12 feet South o
the North Property Line of Parkway Drive Access Road (N. side) to its intersec-
tion with the center line of East Auburn Street, known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 543.
East one-half Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of
the North Property Line of Bates Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet
North of the North Property Line of alley South of East Bates Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 545.

Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North
Property Line of the alley South of East Auburn Street to its intersection with
a line 50.71 feet North of the center line of East Auburn Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 668.
West one-half of Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North
of the North Property Line of the alley North of East Auburn Street to its
intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of Bates
Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 669.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have
been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with
the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
J. R. Fanning Construction Co. , paving contractor, and find the
improvements on Avenues Zenith and Cherry; Parkway Drive Access
Rd. (West Side); and Auburn Street as listed on the final
estimate sheet-to have been completed in accordance with the plans
and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements
on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the
contractor the amount shown an the attached consolidated final
estimate sheet as due him by the. City of Lubbock.
