RESOLUTION ACCEPTING I11PROV&MITS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVEh7UES AS LISTED BMAZ:
{� WHEREAS in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
(J ✓' '�' City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Mackenzie Heights Addition made
arrangements with West Texas Construction.'Conipany, Inc. for the construction
of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under
the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision
plat of Mackenzie Heights Addition including the following streets:
Curb and Gutter only on the West side of Vanda Avenue from 16.5 feet North of
the South Property Line of 4th Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet
West of the Nest Property Line of Vanda Avenue on East 6th Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 621.
Curb and Gutter only on the North side of East 6th Street from its intersection
with a line 15 feet lest of the 'crest Property Line of Wanda Avenue to its
intersection with a line 287.3 feet Blest of the 11est Property Line of Vanda
Avenue, known and designated as Few Subdivision Unit Number 622.
Ute Avenue from its intersection with a line 16.5 feet North of the South
Property Line of 4th Street to its intersection with a Line 23 feet West of
the West Property Line of Ute Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 623.
East 5th Street from its intersection with a line 23 feet West of the divest
Property Line of Ute Avenue to its intersection with a line 23 feet East of
the East Property Line of Teak avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 624.
Teak Avenue from its intersection with a line 16.5 feet North of the South
Property Line of 4th Street to its intersection with a line 23 feet East of
the East Property :.ine of Teak Avenue on East 5th Street, known and designated
as New Subdivision Unit Number 625 ,
AND V11HEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above—
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accord—
ance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is
hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City►s portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
.. its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by West Texas
Construction Company, Inc., paving contractor, under their contract
dated March 16, 1959, designated as G.W.O. 2398, under their contract
with the subdividers of Mackenzie Heights Addition and fired the
improvements on Vanda Avenue, Last 6th Street, Ute Avenue, East 5th
Street and Teats Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have
been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues,
authorizinglpayment to the contractor the amount shown on, the attached
consolidated .final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
