f RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Commission'finds that a certain portion of Aberdeen
Avenue is no longer needed as a public street, and that it would be expedient and
in the public interest to quitclaim said portion of street to the abutting owners;
NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1, The Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of said city a Quitclaim Deed to W. O. Clark
and wife, Cleo L. Clark, and E. F. Alford, his heirs and/or assigns, a quitclai
deed to the following described propehty, ;
BEGINNING at a point which is 2160.5 feet East and
620 feet North of the Southwest corner of the South-
east one-quarter of Survey 4, Block E-2, Lubbock
County, Texas;
THENCE North 227.2 feet;
THENCE East 50 feet;
THENCE South 227.2 feet;
THENCE West 50 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING
The above described tract containing 0.26 acres more
or less. 1.

SECTION 2. The City Secretary shall attett the signature of the Mayor to
said quitclaim and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock, Texas, thereto.
