- P%l RESOLUTION ACCEPTING INPRiOVEMENTS ON PORTIM'S OF ALLEYS, STREETS,
AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN
EVIDENCE OF ASSFSSIMTS IEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street
improvement ordinances and resolutions and entered into "contract with
West Texas Construction, Inc. G.W.O. 2200 for the making and construction
or street and/or alley improvements on portions of numerous alleys, streets
and/or avenues in said City including among others the following:
Waco Avenue from its intersection with a line 1 foot North of the North
Property tine of Auburn Street to its intersection with the South Gutter Line
of Baylor Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 44 of Unit Number
1918.
Dartmouth Street from its intersection with a line 5 feet East of the East
Property Line of Hartford Avenue to its intersection with a line 5 feet East
of the Fast Property Line of Gary Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit
Number 47 of Unit Number 1918.
Dartmouth Street from--its intersection with the East Property Line of Indiana
Avenue to its intersection with a line 5 feet East of the East Property Line
of Hartford Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 40 of Unit
Number 1918.
Auburn Street from its intersection with the West Line of Lot 57, Arnett and
Benson Addition to its intersection with the West Property Line of Boston
r` Avenue (North Leg), known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 42 of Unit Number
1918.
Baylor Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Boston
Avenue to its intersection with a line 4 feet West of the West Property Line
of College Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 37 of Unit Number
1918.
North Hudson Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of
Erskine Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of Grinnell
Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 1 of Unit Number 1917.
Baylor Drive from its- intersection with a line 20 feet South of the South
Property Line of Cornell Street to its intersection with the West Property
Line of Colgate Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 15 of Unit
Number 1919.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above-
mentioned alleys., streets and/or avenues, have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract (G.`1'.0. 2200).
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned alleys,
streets, and/or avenues be and the same are hereby accepted, and the City
Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct payment of the City's
portion of the Cost,

That the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed
to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied
against the arcels of property abutting upon the said portions,of the alleys,.
streets and?or avenues listed above and against the owners of such property in
accordance with law and in the manner provided in said contract;; 4nd the pro-
ceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments w' 're 'such assess-
ments were levied.
III.
-This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
