W H E R E A S y THE City Commi s sion finds that the City of Lubbock i s the
owner of certain hereinafter described property which is no longer needed for
public purposes and that it would be expedient to sell said property; NOW THERE
F ORE=
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and
on behalf the City of Lubbock a warranty deed from said City to Campbell H.
Elkins conveying Lot 5, Block 170, OlNeal Terrace Annex, an addition to the City
-of Lubbock„ Lubbock Countyp Texas; the consideration to be paid said city by the
said Campbell H. Elkins shall be $3500.
SECTION 2. The City Secretary shall attest the signature of the Mayor to
said warranty deed and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
Passed by the City Commission, the llth day of June, 1959.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Karr Paving Co. Inc. , paving contractor, under their contract with
the subdividers of Bender Terrace Addition and find the improve-
ments on 27th .Street, 28th Street, -Salem Avenue, Raleigh Avenue,
Raleigh Place and two alley -stubs on the blest side of Quaker Avenue
as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
