HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 061159E - Pavement Improvements - Kerr Paving Inc - Bender Terrace Addition - 06_11_1959 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTiONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Bender Terrace Addition made arrangements with Kerr Paving, Inc.for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Bender Terrace Addition including the following streets: 27th Street from its intersection with the West Lip Line of Quaker Avenue to its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East Property Line of Toledo Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 473. Alley Stub on West side of Quaker Avenue and between 27th and 28th Streets, known and designated as part of New Subdivision Unit Number 473 A. 28th Street from its intersection with the West Lip Line of Quaker Avenue to a line 16 feet East of the East Property Line of Toledo Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 474. Alley Stub on West side ,of Quaker Avenue and between 28th and. 29th Streets, known and designated as part of New Subdivision Unit Number 474-A. Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 31st Street to its intersection with the center line of the intersection at Salem Avenue and 31st Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 475• Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 16 feet South of the South Property Line of 29th Street to its intersection with a line 22.31 feet North of the North Property Line of 27th Street, known and designated as Part of New Subdivision Unit Numbers 476 and 477 (curb and gutter only) . Raleigh Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 27th Street (E. Leg), known and designated as part of New Subdivision Unit Numbers 532 and 534. Raleigh Rlace from its intersection with a line 15 feet .North of the North Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with the 'North Paving Line of the cul de sac North of 27th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 538. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. k 1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions .of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
