Hampton - Cain Terrace Second Addition - 04_23_1959 J F:wc 0 4-7—Arftq L} ' RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that a certain portion of 20th Street is no longer needed for public use; and, WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it would be expedient and in the public interest to Quit Claim the portion of 20th Street as hereinafter described to James D. Hampton; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to James D. Hampton covering the following described property; BEGINNING at a point in the West line of Lot 6, Cain Terrace, 2nd Addition to the. City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, said point being 172.38 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 6; THENCE North, a distance of 42.62 feet to a point; THENCE East 8, 04 feet to a point; THENCE Southeasterly on a curve to the left having a radius of 60 feet; a distance of 32.93 feet to a point; THENCE Southwesterly on a curve to the left having a radius of 210 feet, a distance of 29.40 feet to a point; -^ THENCE continuing Southwesterly on a tangent a distance of 8, 09 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary shall attest the signature of the Mayor to said Quit Claim Deed and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
