RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ]MPROVEMENTS ON FORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENVES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock passed resolutions on June 26, July ,.
10 and August 14, 1958 authorizing the construction of street improvements by
West Texas Construction, Inc. on portions of the following streets:
Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North
Property Line of alley South of East 9th Street to its intersection with a line
8 feet South of the South Property Line of East 9th Street, known and designate
as Unit Number 1926.
Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North
Property Line (Es Leg) of alley North of East 9th Street to its intersection
with a line 8 feet North of the North Property Line of East 9th Street, known
and designated as- Unit 'Number 1927.:
East 9th Street from its intersection with a line 6 feet West of the West
Property Line of Zenith Avenue to its intersection with the West Gutter Line of
Beech Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1928.
East 9th Street from its intersection with a line 5 feet East of the East Prop-
erty Line of Walnut Avenue to its intersection with a line 6 feet West of the
West Property Line of Zenith Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1932.
Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 8 feet South of the South
Property Line of East 8th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North
of the North Property Line of alley (E. Leg) North of East 9th Street, known
and designated as Unit Number 1935.
East 8th Street from its intersection with a line 6 feet west of the West
Property Line of Zenith Avenue to its intersection with a line 8 feet West of
the West Property Line of Beech Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1936.
AND WHEREAS, `the improvements upon the said portions of the above-
mentioned streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed
according to the approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is
hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's share.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 13TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1958.

I have examined the paving improvements constructed by West
Texas Construction, Iuc., paving contractor, as authorized by a
resolution passed on June 26, July 10 and August 14, 1958 and find
the inprov+ements on Zenith Avenue, East 8th Street and Bast 9th
Street as listed on the final estimate sbaeet to have been completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications and recowsnemd that
you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
