! ADMINISTRATOR OF CIVIL AERONAUTICS) AND THE CITY OF L,UBBO",
TEXAS HAVE HERETOFORE ENTERED INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT ON OR
ABOUT THE 14TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, I957 DESCRIBED AS LUBBOCK MUNI—
CIPAL AIRPORT PROJECT #9-41-071-0707, WHICH GRANT AGREEMENT
RELATES TO THE EXTENSION OF THE N/S RUNWAY, CONSTRUCTION OF A
PARALLEL TAXIWAY AND THE PREPARATION OF THE SITE FOR A RE—
LOCATED GLIDE PATH AT THE LUBBOCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT ; AND
WHEREAS, THE AFORESAID PARTIES HERETO MUTUALLY DESIRE TO
AMEND SUCH GRANT AGREEMENT THE EFFECT OF WHICH WILL INCREASE
THE MAXIMUM GRANT OF THE UNITED STATES by $5,826.01 :
NOW THEREFORE 'BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
THAT IN CONSIDERATION OF THE INCREASED FEDERAL PARTICI—
PATION IN THIS PROJECT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
LUBBOCK, TEXAS DOES HEREBY ACCEPT AMENDMENT #1 TO THE GRANT
AGREEMENT, A COPY OF WHICH AMENDMENT #1 IS ATTACHED HERETO
AND MADE A PART HEREOF FOR ALL PURPOSES AND AGRELTS THAT THE
GRANT AGREEMENT HERETOFORE ACCEPTED AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENT
#1 CONSTITUTES THE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF
AMCRICA- AND THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, AND THAT THE DIRECTOR
OF AVIATION IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO EXECUTE THE
GRANT AGREEMENT HEREINABOVE REFERRED TO FOR AND IN nEHALF OF
THE CITY OF LUBBOCK.

WHEREAS, the Regional Administrator for Region of the Civil Aeronautics Administra-
