RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Pleasant Ridge Addition, Lots 124 thru 195,
made arrangements with Pioneer Pavers, Inc. for the construction of paving
improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the pro-
visions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of
Pleasant Ridge Addition including the following streets:
York Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North
Property Line of alley North of 14th Street to its intersection with a line
15 feet North of the North Property Line of 14th Street, known and designated
as Unit Number New Subdivision 344.
York Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Proper-
ty Line of 15th Street to its intersection with a line, 15 feet South of the
South Property Line of 14th Street, known and designated as Unit Number New
Subdivision 345.
York Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North
Property Line of alley North_.of 16th Street to its intersection with a line
15 feet South of the South Property Line of 15th Street, known and designated
as Unit Number New Subdivision 346.
14th-Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Slide Road to
its intersection with:the West Property Line of Vicksburg Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number New Subdivision 347.
15th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Slide Road to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Vicksburg.Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number New Subdivision 348.
East one-half of Slide Road from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet' North of
the North Property Line of the alley North of 16th Street to its intersection
with a line 2.5 'feet North of the North Property Line of alley North of 14th
Street,known and designated as Unit Number New Subdivision 350.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the 'said portion of the abovemen-
tioned streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed according
to the approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portion of the abovementioned streets be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby auth r
ized to direct the payment of the City's share, and release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paging improvements constructed by Pioneer
Pavers, Inc., paving contractor, under their contract dated February 13,
1958, designated as G.W.O. 2185, under their contract with the subdividers
of Pleasant Ridge Addition and find the improvements on York Avenue from
NPL of alley north of 14th Street to NPL of alley North of 16th Street.
14th Street from EPL of Slide Road to APL of Vicksburg Avenue. 15th Street
from EPL of Slide Road to TeiPL of Vicksburg Avenue. East one-half of Slide
Road from NPL of alley North of 14th Street to the NPL of alley North of
16th Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment
to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final
estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
