A_RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY .OF LUBBOCK T
EXECUTE FOR AND ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY A CONTRACT FOR PIPE LINE
ACROSS OR ALONG RIGHT OF WAY TO BE ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN
SAID CITY ARID THE FORT WORTH AND DENVER RAILWAY COMPANY,
COVERING A PIPE LINE TO BE LOCATED AT OR NEAR THE ;STATION OF SAI
RAILWAY AT LUBBOCK? LUBBOCK COUNTYS TEXAS.
WHEREAS,, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that it would be
in the public interest., health, and welfare to enter into a contract for pipe line
across or along Right of Way with the Fort Worth and Denver Railway Company,
covering a 6-inch water line to be laid at or near the station of said railway at
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is authorized and directo d
to execute for and on behalf of said City, a contract for pipe line across or. along
Right of Way to be entered into by and between said City and Fort Worth and
Denver Railway Company covering a 6-inch water line to be laid at or near the
station of said railway at Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas., from M. P. L-358. 2
to M.P. L-358. 28. Said contract shall provide for a consideration of $1. 00 to be
paid to the Fort Worth and Denver Railway Company by said City of Lubbock,and
._, shall be dated July 18 , 1958.
SECTION 2. The City Secretary is authorized and directed to attest the
signature of the Mayor to said contract and shall'affix the seal of the City of
Lubbock thereto.
