HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 071058F - Pavement Improvements - Pioneer Pavers Inc - Windsor Heights And Skyline Terrace - 07/10/1958 I I 1 00110SIF RESOLUTION - RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IkTROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OE STREETS AND/OR AVER?UES AS LISTED BELOI; WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Windsor Heights and Skyline Terrace made arrangements with Pioneer Pavers, Inc, for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of 'Windsor Heights and Skyline Terrace including the following streets: 54th Street from its intersection with the Center Line of Avenue "W" to its intersection with the Nutter Line 15 feet West of West Property Line of Avenue "U", known and designated as Unit Number New Subdivision 328. Avenue 11W11 from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 54th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 54th Street, known and designated as Unit Number New Subdivision 329. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovementioned streets was performed under the' supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY- THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: . — I That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the , City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to diredt the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. CITY of LUaaoCK oT �8 CK` TEXAS July 10, 1958 Honorable Mayor and City Commission Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving fmprovesmmts constructed by .Piaaeer Pavers, Inc., paving contractor, under their contract dated February 6, 1958, designated as G.W.O. 2184, wader their contract with the subdividers of Windsor Hts. Skyline Terrace Addition and find the improvements on 54th Street from Avenue W to Avenue U, Avenue W from alley North of 54th to 54th Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the glans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
