HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 071058C - Street Improvements - Pioneer Pavers Inc - Avenue W - 07_10_1958 s � RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DIPROVEHENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock passed a resolution on February 13, 1958, authorizing the construction of street improvements by Pioneer Pavers, Inc. Contractor, on portions of the following streets: East k of Avenue.W from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 54th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley South of 54th Street, known and designated as Unit Number 1915. West J of Avenue W from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 54th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley South of 54th Street, kaotan and designated as New-Subdivision Unit Number 307. AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above- mentioned streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed according to the approved plans and specifications. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City'a share, and release escrow money. Nickerson, City Engineer A D: A.­4L t W/,n� Vaukhn E. lsoft' CIty Attorney oS7lose CITY OF LUBBOCK ©ex TEXAS July 10, 1958 Hoserable Mayor and City Comeaissios Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer Pavers, Inc., paving contractor, under their contract dated February 13, 1958, designated as G.W.O. 2109, under their contract with the subdividers of Oakwood Addition sad find the improvements on Avenue W from 54th Street to alley South of 54th Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the inprovemeats on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shows on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock against property owners for the respective amounts shows on the attached final assessment sheets as being due against them and their respective properties.
