R E S O L U T_1 O N
A CORRECTION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE'
FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO
SAINT CHRISTOPHER'►S PARISH, INC., A CORPORATION, TO A CERTAIN ,.
PORTION OF ALLEY LOCATED SOUTH OF 42ND STREET AND EAST OF
ELGIN AVENUE AND TO A CERTAIN PORTION OF DETROIT AVENUE WHICH
LIES SOUTH OF 42ND STREET AND EAST OF ELGIN AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission passed a Resolution on May 8, 1958,
authorizing the Mayor to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a
Quit Claim Deed to Saint Christopherts Parish, Inc. , to a certain portion of
alley.located South of 42nd Street and East of Elgin Avenue and to a certain
portion of Detroit Avenue which lies South of 42nd Street and East of Elgin
Avenue, said tracts of land being more particularly described in said Resolu-
tion; and,
WHEREAS, an error was made in the legal description of "Tract No. 21+
in said Resolution; and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds it expedient to correct said error;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the legal description of the aforesaid Resolution BE
and the same is hereby corrected, and that the Mayor BE and he is hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a
Correction Quit Claim Deed to Saint Christopherts Parish,.Inc. , a Corporation,
to the following described tracts of land., herein designated as Tracts 1 and 2,
located in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, to-wit:
TRACT NO. 1
BEGINNING at a point 130 feet East of the Northwest corner of
Lot Two (2), Block Two (2), Witt Acreage Addition, an addition
to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE South 180. 0 feet to a point;
THENCE East 15. 0 feet to a point;
THENCE North 180. 0 feet to a point;

THENCE West 15. 0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing
. 06 acres more or less.
TRACT NO. 2
BEGINNING at a point in the North line of Lot Two (2), Block
Two (2) Witt Acreage Addition, an addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas, said point being 275 feet East of the
Northwest corner of said Lot Two (2);
THENCE South a distance of 237. 5 feet to a point;

THENCE South 160421 West a distance of 56. 03 feet to a point; is
THENCE North 8102$t East a distance of 41. 56 feet to. a point;
THENCE East 13. 0 feet to a point;
THENCE North 160421 East a distance of 41.76 feet to a point;
THENCE North a distance of 245 feet to a point, said point
being in the North line of said Lot Two (2);
' THENCE West along the North line of said Lot Two (2) a distance
of 50 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing . 33 acres,
' more or less.

SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed
to attest the signature of the Mayor to said Correction Quit Claim Deed and
affix the seal of the City-of Lubbock thereto.
Passed by the Commission this 12th day of June 1958.
