WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that public
necessity and convenience requires the enlargement and extension of the Cityts
sewer system and further finds that an easement in, over and under the tract
of land herein described is needed for right of way to construct and maintain
sewer lines and appurtenances; and,
WHEREAS, R.R. Leftwich
owns said tract of land, and damages to be paid to owner for said easement have
been appraised in the amount of �- ��,�p _ _ _ _Arid the Commission
finds said amount to be fair and equitable; NOiP, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLYLD BY THE CITY CO?01ISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT an` easement in, over and under the following described tract of land
situated in Lubbock County, Texas, be acquired by the City of Lubbock for
the purpose of enlarging and extending the Cityts sewer system, said tract
described as follows:
A 20t pernenant easement and a 60t temporary working easement, 30feet
either side of the permanent easement, the center line of which is described
as follows:
"BEGINNING at a point in the centerline of the Stanton cut-off road,
said point being 873.08 feet north and 579.75 feet nest of the southeast
corner of Section 15, Block A. Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE northwesterly at an angle of 70040t with the centerline of the
Stanton cut-off road a distance of 315.3 feet to a point in the west line
of the R.R. Leftwich tract, said point being W3.03 feet north and 637.57
feet west of the southeast corner of Section 15, Block A."all the above in
Section 15, Block A, Lubbock County, Texas.
THAT the owners be offered, through the Right of way Department, the
amount appraised as total damages for said easement, and unless accepted
forthwith that condemnation proceedings be timely instituted by the City
Attorney to acquire said easement in, over -and under said tract of land for
the purpose of constructing and maintaining sewer lines and appurtenances
therein., together with full rights of ingress, egress and regress for such pur-
poses*
