BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor BE and he is hereby authorized to execute the
original and one copy of true copies of an Agreement between the City
as Owner and DeWitt and 2Maeker as Archite is .for the architectual services
therein provided for.
On motion of Commissioner Casey—____, seconded by
Commissioner' the foregoing Resolution was

THE STAVE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THIS AGREEMENT made the ISth day of February in the year
Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-Eight by and between the City of Lubbock
hereinafter called the OWNER and DeWitt and Maekesr, Architects-
Engineers hereinafter called the ARCHITECT,
U"ITNESSETH, THAT whereas the Owner intends to erect an
addition to the City Hall and remodel the existing said City Mall and to
provide space for the Corporation.Court of the City thru alterations and
additions to the police Building, hereinafter Galled the Work;
NOW THEREFORE, the Owned, and the Architect, for the consi-
derationshereinafter named, agree as follows:
The Architect agrees to perform.. for the above-named Work,
professional services as hereinafter set forth.
THE OWNER ,AGREES to pay the Architect for such services a
fee of One and One-Halt percent (I.S%) of the estimated cost of the Work,
with other payments and reimbursements as hereinafter provided.
THE PARTIES hereto further e:gree to the following conditions:
1. THE ARCHITECTS SERVICES. The Architect's professional
services consist of the necessary conferences and preparation of preliminary
studies consisting of space relationship studies, schematic drawings, per-
spectives, and cost estimates.
2. REIMBURSEMENTS. - The Owner to to reimburse the Architect
the -cost of engraving, brochures and photographs which may be required
by the Owner for use in disseminating information to the public.

3. PAYME HT. • Payn:e nt to the Architect on account of his fee
shall be arcade in full tin completion of his serviras as stated in Articles 1.

7. OwNRgifl:P OF DOCUMENT6. Drawings and Specifications
as instruments of service are: the property of the Architect whether the work

work except by agreement with the: Architect. Provided however, at to
