RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a quitClaim
Deed in favor of Douglas J. Corley and Truman D. Powers of Lubbock, Texas,
attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and
as spread upon the minutes of thi uncil shall constitute and be a part of
this Resolution as if fully coVfed here' in detail.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS §
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, hereinafter called "GRANTOR,"
for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND N0/100 DOLLARS
($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration to GRANTOR in
hand paid by DOUGLAS J. CORLEY AND TRUMAN D. POWERS, hereinafter
called "GRANTEES," the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE and
FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEES, all of GRANTORIS
rights, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel
of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State
of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
A portion of a public street in Section 8, Block B, in
the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, and being
further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point 330 feet west and 140.35 feet
north of the SE corner of the NE 1/4 of Section 8,
Block B, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE North 140.40 feet to a point;
THENCE East 25 feet to a point;
THENCE South 140.40 feet to a point;
THENCE West 25 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any
manner belonging unto the said GRANTEES, their successors and
assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, CITY OF LUBBOCK,
its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under GRANTOR
shall at any time hereafter have, claim or demand any right to
the title to the aforesaid remises or appurtenances or any part
