Resolution No. 4096 March 11, 1993 Item DLO QUITCLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS § KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK § THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, hereinafter called "GRANTOR," for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND N0/100 DOLLARS ($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration to GRANTOR in hand paid by DOUGLAS J. CORLEY AND TRUMAN D. POWERS, hereinafter called "GRANTEES," the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEES, all of GRANTORIS rights, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: A portion of a public street in Section 8, Block B, in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a point 330 feet west and 140.35 feet north of the SE corner of the NE 1/4 of Section 8, Block B, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE North 140.40 feet to a point; THENCE East 25 feet to a point; THENCE South 140.40 feet to a point; THENCE West 25 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
