�i- WHEREAS , Mackenzie State Park was-donated to the State of Texas for
park purposes by the City of Lubbock, and the City of Lubbock desires that
a part of said park lying along the East Boundary Line of said park, be returned
to it ; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the City of Lubbock hereby expresses its desire and wish)
to the State Parks Board of the State of Texas to transfer and return title to a
part of Mackenzie State Park located in Lubbock County, Texas, to the City of
Lubbock as provided for and authorized by Article 6068, Vernonts Revised
Civil Statutes; the tracts or parts of Mackenzie State Park desired to be return-
ed to the City of Lubbock are located in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas,
and described by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:

BEGINNING at an Auto Axle for the Northeast corner of
Mackenzie State Park; ' '
THENCE South 10 :57t West along the present East Property
Line of Mackenzie State Park a distance of 1256.84 feet to a j

THENCE Northwesterly around a curve to the right, the radius
r point of said curve bears North 76 36t 3.7411 East a distance of
11.21.44 feet, a distance of 300.43 feet to a point of tangency;
