RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF AVENUES AND STREETS AS
LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Rushland Park, Installment 6, made arrange-
ments with Pioneer Pavers for the construction of paving improvements on cer-
tain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordi-
nance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Rushland Park including
the following streets:
13th Street from its intersection with a line 11 feet West of the East Property
Line of Toledo Avenue to its intersection with a line 259.62 feet East of the
East Property Line of Salem Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 904.
Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the North Proper-
ty Line of the alley South of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 3 fee
North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 13th Street (excluding
the intersection at 13th Street) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 905.
13th Drive from its intersection with a line 8.5 feet West of the East Property
Line of Toledo Avenue to its intersection with a line 10.5 feet South of the
North Property Line of 13th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 906.
�^ Toledo Avenue (concrete East side only) from its-intersection with a line 14
feet North of the North Property Line of 13th Street (East Leg) to its inter-
section with a line 3 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley
North of 13th Drive, known and designated as part of New Subdivision Unit
Number 907.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovemen-
tioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City E ngineer, and sai
improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been
constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the
provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer
Pavers., paving contractor., under their contract with the subdividers
of Rishland Park and find the improvements on Toledo Avenue, Salem
Avenue, 13th Drive and 13th Street als listed on the final estimate
sheet to have .been completed in accordance with the plans and specifi—
cations and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets
and avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on
the attached consolidated final estimate sheet.
