Oq 1415 ram, �✓'� RESOLUTIM RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROMMM ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELGF AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE, OF CTrERTICICATES IN EVIDENCE OF ASSESSMENTS LEVIED. WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with West Texas Construction, Incorporated., (G.W.O. 2068) for the making and construction of street improvements on portions of numerous streets and for avenues. in said City including among others the foll..o4hgi Avenue "P'' from its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the South Property Line of 48th Street to its intersection with a line 45 feet North of the South Property Line of 50th Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 16 of Unit No, 1880. 47th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue "$" to its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue "Q", known and designated as' Sub-Unit Number 18 of Unit Number 1880. South i of 48th Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet Fast of the East Property Line of Akron Avenue (South Leg) to its inter- section with the West Gutter Line of College Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 20 of Unit Number 1880. AND WHEREAS., the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementioned streets aid/or avenues, have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with terms of said Contract (G.W.O. 2068). THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVLD BY THE CITY CiF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. THAT the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets, . and/or avenues be and the same are hereby accepted, and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. II. TFAT,the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessment levied against the arcels of property abutting upon the said portion of the streets and/or avenues listed above and against the owners, of such property in accordance with law and in the 'manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments where such assessments were levied.
