RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IIPROV&Z TS M PORTIONS OF STREETS AkID/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELM:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Benhall Manor Addition, made arrange-
ments with Hodges and Tierney for the construction of paving improvements on
certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording.of the subdivision plat of Benhall Ranor
Addition including the following streets:
Avenue "P" from its intersection with the South Property Line of 42nd Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 50th Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 856.
Avenue qT" from its intersection with a line 19 feet North of the South Fropert
Line of 42nd Street to its intersection with a line 18 feet South of the South
Property Line of 44th Street (E. Leg), known and designated as new Subdivision
Unit Number 857.
Avenue "N" from its intersection with a line 18 feet South of the South Propert
Line of 44th Street (East Leg) to its intersection with a line 13.99 feet North
of the North Property Line of 46th Street (West Leg), known and designated as
New Subdivision Unit Number 858.
Avenue "N" from its intersection with a line 13.99 feet North of the North
Property Line of 46th' Street (West Leg) to its intersection with a line 11.82

designated as Yew Subdivision Unit Number 859.
Avenue "L" from its intersection with a line 10 feet North of the North

AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEAS.
I.

That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take affect and be in force from and after its
passage.

I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Hodges and Tierney, paving contractor, under their contract with the
subdividers of Benhall Manor Addition and find the improvements an
Avenue "P", Avenue 'IN" Avenue "L", Ni of 50th Street, 49th Street,
Drainage Channel, 48th Street, 47th Street, 46th Street, 45th Street,
4 th Street, 43rd Street and the S- of 42nd Street as listed on the
final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications and recommend that you acdept the improve-
ments on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the
contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final
estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
