ft7' A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER TO C. D. CHILDERS AND WIFE A QUIT CLAIM DEED ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO TWO:Z5--FOOT TRACTS OF 'LAND OUT OF
CRUMP 5 ACRE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOC4 LUBBQC4 TEXAS,
AS HEREINAFTER MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY .OF
THIS RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, Two tracts of land 25 feet in width out of Crump 5 Acre
Addition as more particularly described hereinafter is not being used and will
not in the future be used or needed for :any public purposes, and;
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it would be to the public interest
for the City of Lubbock to quit claim its interest in such land to C. D.
Childers and wife, Emagene Lillian Childers„ NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and
deliver on behalf of the City of Lubbock a quit claim deed to C. D. Childers an
'wife„ Emagene Lillian Childers, conveying its interest in and to the herein-
after described tracts of land particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows, to-wit:
TRACT NO. 1
BEGINNING at a point 12. 5E South and 254 West of the Northeast corner of Lot
3, Block 30 of the Crump 5 Acre Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas.
THENCE South 127. 51 more or less to the North line of a 151 alley;
THENCE East a distance of 25r to a point;
THENCE North 1Z7. 5' more or less to a point„ said point being 12. 51 south of
the Northeast corner of said Lot 3a. Block 30, Crump 5 Acre Addition;
THENCE West Z5 to a point of beginning.
TRACT NO. 2
BEGINNING at a point 251 West and.142. 50 South of the Northeast corner of
Lot 3, Block 307 Crump 5 Acre Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock Count
Texas;
THENCE South 127. 50 to a point;
THENCE East 254 to a point;
THENCE North 127. 51 to a pointl
THENCE West along the South line of ,a 151 alley a distance of 25t to a point
of beginning.

SECTION2. THAT the City Secretary-Treasurer shall attest such
quit claim deed affixing the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
