RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DIPROVEIiENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Bender Terrace Lots 122-313, made arrangement
with Kerr Paving Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain
streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance
prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Bender Terrace Lots 122-313
including the following streets:
27th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East Property
Line of Vicksburg Avenue to its intersection with a line 18 feet East of the
East Property Line of Toledo Avenue (South Leg) known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 880.
28th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet North of the North Proper -
ty Line of 29th Street to its intersection with a line 12 feet West of the
West Property Line of Salem Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 881.
29th Street from its intersection with the East point of Curvature of the let
curve South of 27th Street on Vicksburg Avenue to its intersection with a line
12 feet West of the West Property Line of Salem Avenue, known and designated
as New Subdivision Unit Number 882.
30th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet South of the South
Property Line of 29th Street to its intersection with a line 12 feet West of
the West Property Line of Salem Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 883.
31st Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East Property
Line of Toledo Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the West
Property Line of Salem Avenue (North Leg) , known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 884.
31st Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East Property
Line of Vicksburg Avenue to its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the
East Property Line of Toledo Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 885.
Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the North
Property Line of the alley North of 27th Street to its intersection with the
Southwest corner of the Junior High School Tract, known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 886.
Toledo Avenue (concrete on East side only) from its intersection with a line
16 feet South of the South Property Line of 31st Street to its intersection
with a line 23 feet South of the North Property Line of the alley South of 31st
Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 887.
Toledo Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet North of
the North Property Line of 28th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 888.
East 1/2 of Vicksburg Avenue from its intersection with the South Curb Line of
Brownfield Road to its intersection with a line 16 feet South of the South
Property Line of 31st 'Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 889.
27th Street from its intersection with a line 18 feet East of the East Property
Line of Toledo Avenue to its intersection with a line 11.43 feet West of the
West Property Line of Salem Avenue (North Leg) , known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 892.
West 1/2 of Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the
North Property Line of the alley South of 27th Street to its intersection with
a line 3 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 27th Street,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 893.
City's extra width along the East side of New Subdivision Unit Number 893,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 893-A.
West 1/2 of Vicksburg Avenue from.its intersection with the South Curb Line of
Brownfield Road to its intersection with a line 16 feet South of the South
Property Line of 31st Street (East Leg) , known and designated as New Subdivisica
Unit Number 894.
East 1/2 of Salem Avenue (paving only) from its intersection with a line 22.31
feet North of the North Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with
line 15.13 feet South of the South Property Line of Brownfield Drive, known
and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 537.
East 1/2 of Salem Avenue (paving only) from its intersection with a line 16
feet North of the North Property Line of 29th Street to its intersection with
a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 28th Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 476.
East 1/2 of Salem Avenue (paving only) from its intersection with a line 22.31
feet North of the North Property Line of 27th Street to its intersection with
a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 28th Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 477.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
�- be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.

II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr
Paving Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the
subdividers of Bender Terrace Lots 122-313 and find the improvements
on I27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st Streets and Salem, Toledo and
Vicksburg Avenues as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend
that you accept the improvements on said streets and avenues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet a,6 due him by the City of Lubbock.
