HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 071360J - Pavement Improvements - West Texas Construction Co - Mackenzie Manors Addition - 07_13_1960 r RESOLUTION ,-^ RESOLUTION ACCEPTING 114PROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Mackenzie Manors Addition, made arrangements with West Texas Construction Company for the construction of paving improvement on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Mackenzie Manors Addition including the following streets: East 2nd Street from its intersection with a line 17 feet West of the West Property Line of Quirt Avenue to its intersection with the West Lot Line of Lot 235 Mackenzie Manors Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, known and designated. as New Subdivision Unit No, 697. East 1st Place from its intersection with a line 16 feet North of the North Property Line of East 2nd Street East and including the cul-de-sac, known and designated as New Subdivision ynit Number 698. West 1/2 of Quirt Avenue (concrete only) from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of East 2nd Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of East lst Place, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 699. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityls portion of the cost. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
