RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVE1MITS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVr2<UES AS LISTED BELai: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Mackenzie Terrace, made arrangements with Hodges and Tierney Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording bf the subdivision plat of Mackenzie Terrace Addition including the following streets: Bates Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line at (quirt Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the West Property Line of Spruce Avenue, known and designated as the New Subidivison Unit Number 749. Bates Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet East of the East Property Line of Spruce Avenue to its intersection with the ilest Lip Line of Zenith Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 750. Baylor Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Quirt Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet iPest of the West Property Line of Spruce Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 751. Baylor Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the jlest Property Line of Spruce Avenue to its intersection with the East Lip Line of Zenith Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number.752• Colgate Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet iJest of the 'test Property line of Spruce Avenue to its intersection with the udest Lip Line of Zenith Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 753- Spruce Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the Alley South of Bates Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of Baylor Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 754. Spruce Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of Baylor Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of Colgate Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 755• Spruce Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of Colgate Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the North Property Line to the alley North of Colgate Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 756. Redbud Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley South of Bates Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of Bates Street (East Side), known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 785. Redbud Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of Bates Street East side to its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of Baylor Street (South Side), known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 786. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above— mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accord— ance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEIWORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TPLUS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted. II. TEXAS June 23, 1960 Honorable Mayor and City Commission Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Hodges and Tierney Construction Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Mackengie Terrace Addition and find the improv ments on Bates, Baylor and Colgate Streets and Quirt, Redbud, Spruce and Zenith Avenues as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and avenues.
