� -^ 111f DELIVER TO W: A: DORMAN, A QUIT CLAIM DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF LUBBOCK TO A PORTION OF AVENUE E IN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK,, AS
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS,, it has been determined by the City Comma Sion of-the City of
Lubbock that a certain portion of Avenue E as more particularly described in the
body of this Resolution is not being used and will not in the future be used or
needed for public purposes or street purposes or any other public purpose; and,
WHEREAS,,, it has been determined that it would be to the public interest for
the City of Lubbock to quit claim its interest in said portion of Avenue E to W. .
Dorman; NOW THEREFORE%
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY :.W LUBBOCK
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City fof Lubbock is hereby authorized
and directed to execute and deliver on behalf of said city a quit claim deed to Wo
A. Dorman, conveying its interest in and to the following described Portion of
Avenue E located in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock Countys Texas, to-wit:
A portion of Avenue E South of 19th Street in the City of Lubbock
Lubbock County, Texas, described as follows;
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 1p, Diebel Addition
to the. City of Lubbockyt Lubbock County,. Texas;
THENCE North along the East line of said Lot and a projection .
• of said line to a point 346 feet North of said Southeast corner of Lot 1;
THENCE East 11. 9 feet;
THENCE South 346 feet;
THENCE West 11. 9 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. The City Secretary-Treasurer shall attest such quit claim
deed affixing the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
