Kendrick has requested a street use permit covering a portion of 17th Street as hereinafter described; and, HEREAS, the City Commission finds that said portion of 17th Street is not needed or public travel and use at present and that it is expedient to grant said permit;. NOW THEREFORE: E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. That the Mayor BE and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a street use permit for the installat o f an ice vending machine to be located on the unused portion of 17th Street in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, de cxibed'as follows: A 10 X 20 foot piece of property more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at a point 37.5 feet south and 37.5 feet west of the Southeast corner of Lot 10, Block 206, original town of Lubbock, City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE North 450 West 10.0 feet; THENCE South 450 West 10.0 feet; THENCE South 450 East 20.0 feet; THENCE North 450 East 10.0 feet; THENCE North 45o West 10.0 feet to the point of beginning.
