RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IlTPROMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW.
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331p the subdivider of Oakwood Addition, Lots 1-52, made arrange-
ments for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated
in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the
recording of the subdivision plat of'Oakwood Addition, Lots 1-52, including
the following streets and/or avenues:
College Avenue Access Road (East Side) from its intersection with a line 15
feet South of the South Property Line of 56th Street to its intersection with
a line 2.5 feet South of the South Property Line of the Alley South of 56th
Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 292.
55th Street from its intersection with the West Gutter Line of Collegg Avenue
Access Road to its intersection with a line 16 feet West of the West Property
Line of Avenue W. known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 294.
56th Street .from its intersection with the West Gutter Line of College Avenue
Access Road to its intersection with a line 16 feet West of the West Property
Line of Avenue W, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 295.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to hav
been constructed in accordance with city specifications and in accordance with
the provisions of City Ordinance 1331,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be,
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of cost and to release
escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Pioneer Wagers, Paving Contractors, under their contract with
the subdivides of Oakwood Addition hots 1--52 in accordance with
New Subdivision Ordinance No. 1331 and find the improvements on
College Avenue Access Road designated as New Subdivision Unit
No.' 2922 55th Street designated as New Subdivision Unit No, 294,
56th Street designated as New Subdivision Unit No. 295, as listed
on the attached final estimate sheet to have been completed in
accordance with plans and specifications and recommend the payment
to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as being due him from the City of Lubbock,
