HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 032460A - Curfew Ordinance Election 4_5_60 - 03_24_1960 WC f 6�/ilj .,,BE RESOLUTION IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: The City Secretary is authorized and directed to have printed a sufficient number of ballots substantially in the form of the sample ballot attached hereto relating to whether or nbt the persons voting on the proposition desire a curfew ordinance. These ballots are to be delivered to the election judges in the regular city election to be held on April 5 which judges and assistants are requested to supply to the person desiring to vote on the curfew question and place all such ballots on the curfew question in boxes furnished for such purposes and which curfew ballots shall be kept separate and apart from the ballots and boxes pro- vided for the general city election. All persons engaged in holding the election are requested to cbunt and tab- ulate the votes on the curfew question on separate tabulation sheets and make report in the usual manner of the total votes cast for and against the curfew question. We deeply appreciate the co-operation of the election officials in assisting the City.
