BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim Deed in favor of Ronnie Zahn
Paving, Inc., attached hereto and which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as
spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if
fully copied herein in detail.

THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock,
State of Texas, hereinafter called "GRANTOR," for and in consideration of the sum of TEN
AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration to GRANTOR in
hand paid by RONNIE ZAHN PAVING, INC., hereinafter called "GRANTEE," the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM,
RELEASE and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all of GRANTOR'S rights,
title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at a 1/2" iron rod with yellow cap which bears N. 0096'45" W. a
distance of 432.80 feet and N. 89°24'15" E. a distance of 1110.80 feet from the
Southwest comer of Section 10, Block S, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE N. 00039'05" W. 556.00 feet to a point;
THENCE N. 89018' E. 518.60 feet to a point;
THENCE S. 00042' E. 1397.38 feet to a point;
THENCE S. 89018' W. 744.08 feet to a point;
THENCE N. 00042' W. 841.79 feet to a point;
THENCE N. 89024' 15" E. 225.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
The GRANTOR herein reserves unto itself an easement across the above described
property for purposes of ingress and egress.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the rights,
privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the, said GRANTEE, its
successors and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, its successors or assigns, nor any
persons claiming under GRANTOR shall at any time hereafter have, claim or demand any right
to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
