WHEREAS, a fifty (50) foot strip of land out of the West portion of Sec-
tion 15, Block B, Lubbock County, Texas, hereinafter described by metes and
bounds in the body of this Resolution, is now owned by the City of Lubbock,
and it is necessary and in the'public interest that said land be dedicated to
the public for street purposes; and,
WHEREAS, a certain strip of land out of the West portion of Section 15,
Block B, Lubbock County, Texas,-hereinafter described by metes and bounds 'in
the body of this Resolution is now owned by the City of Lubbock, and it is
necessary and in the public interest that said land be dedicated to the pub-
lic for alley purposes; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the or is hereb
y by authorized: to execute on behalf of
the City'of Lubbock to the public a dedication for street and alley purposes,
respectively, of the following described property, to-wit:
FOR STREET PURPOSES:
All that certain tract or parcel of land, being a part
of Section 15, Block B, Lubbock County, Texas, and par-
ticularly described by metes and bounds, as follows:
BEGINNING-at a point in the West line of Section 15,
Block B, said point being 1,980 feet North of the S. W.
corner of said Section 15, Block B;
THENCE East 685 feet to a point;
THENCE North 50 feet to a point;
THENCE West 685 feet to a point;
THENCE South along the West line of said section 15,
Block B, a distance of 50 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
FOR ALLEY PURPOSES:
All that certain tract or parcel of'.land, being apart of
Section 15, Block B, Lubbock County, Texas, and described
by metes and bounds, as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point 1,980 feat 'North and 685 feet East
of the S. W. corner of Section 16, Block B;
THENCE East-a distance of 139.14 feet to a point;
THENCE S. Oo 02! W., a distance of 505 feet to a point;
THENCE East. 101. to a point;
THENCE N. Oo 021 N., a distance of 525 feet to a point;
THENCE West a distance of 149.14 feet to a point;
THENCE South a distance of 20 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary-Treasurer shall attest such dedica-
tion, affixing the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
