WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of McCulloch Installment Number 8 made arrange— ments for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recordiiZ of the subdivision plat of a portion of McCulloch Installment Number 8, in— cluding the following street: 43rd Street from its intersection with a line 59 feet East of the West Property Line Quaker Avenue to its intersection with a line 239 feet West of the West Property Line of Salem Avenue, known and designated as New Sub— division Unit Number 132. Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.51 North of lst Alley North of 44th Street to its intersection with a line 15t South of the South Property Line, of 44th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 133• Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 15t North of the North Property Line of 43rd Street to its intersection with a line 2.51 South of the lst Alley North of 43rd Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 134. West 1/2 of Quaker Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the lst Alley North of 44th Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line at 43rd Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 135. West 1/2 Quaker Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the Forth Property Line of 43rd Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South Property Line of 1st Alley North of 43rd Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 136. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above— mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with city specifications and in accord— ance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY OF LUBBOCK.. TEXAS I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street be, and the same are hereby accepted and he City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to direct payment of the City's 'portion. II. -- This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. CITY OF LUB1313CK092, 75 %low oc� TWCAIP May 27, 1955 Honorable Mayor and City Commission Lubbock, Texas Gentlement I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr and Middleton under their contract with the Subdivider of McCulloch Addition Installment Humber 8 in accordance with Ordinance No. 1331 and find that the improvements on the streets and avenues designated as NeW. Snbdivision Unit No. 132, 133, 1341, 135 and 136, as listed on the attached final estimate sheets to have been completed in accordance with plans and specifications on said streets and avenues., and recommend the payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as being due him from the City of Lubbock.
