SNOW, A QUIT CLAIM HEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCE TO THAT PORTION OF INDIANA AVE- I NITE IN THE CITY OF'LUBBOCK HEREIN MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED I IN THE BODY OF THIS RESOLUTION. iWHEREAS, it has been determined that that portion of Indiana Avenue, as more particularly described hereinafter is not being used and will not In the future be used or needed for street purposes or for public travel; and, WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that it would be to the public interest to quit claim its interest to such land to WISTER C. SNOW and wife, SARAH I. SNOW; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: i) it i SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver on behalf of the City of Lubbock, a quit, claim deed to WISTER C, f SNOW and wife, SARAH I. SNOW, 'conveying its interest in the land described as follows: I BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Tract ll, Lubbock View Subdivision, 1950 feet South and 30 feet East of the Northwest corner of Section 14, Block B► { THENCE East 10 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 16 of they W. C. Snow Addition to the City of Lubbock, Texas, a sub- division of the South 127. 5 feet of Tract 12. Lubbock View Ad- dition or subdivision. in Section 14, Block B, Lubbock County Texas.; THENCE North a distance of 112. 5 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 16; THENCE West a distance of 10 feet; THENC�, South parallel with the West line of said Lot 16 a dis- tance off 112. 5 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. 'SECTION 2. That the CitySecretary-Treasurer shall attest such quit claim y 4 1 deed, affixing the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
