A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER
TO BROADWAY. CHURCH OF CHRIST."IN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, A RELIG-
IOUS INSTITUTION INCORPORATED '�JNDER THE LAWS OF-TEXAS, A QUIT
CLAIM DEED ON BEHALF 'OF THE CITY;OF LUBBOCK TO THAT PORTION
OF AN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK HEREIN MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS RESOLUTION.
Closing WHEREAS, it has been determined that that portion of the East-West alley
I"Jest 1/2 in Block 26, Overton Addition, as more particularly ` described by metes and
of East- bounds hereinafter, is not being used and will not in the future be used or neededi
11Iest ; for alley purposes or for any other public purpose; and,

&. .Ave . land to Broadway Church of Christ in the City of Lubbock, a religious institu-
& Ave.T, tion incorporated under the laws of Texas; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSIOQN OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
`` and deliver on behalf of the City.of Lubbock, a quit claim deed to the Broadway
Church of Christ in Lubb4� a religious organization, conveying its interest
in the land described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of said Lot 17, Block 26,
.-, Overton Addition, an addition to the City of Lubbock, Texas,
' THENCE, West 250 feet to the Northwest corner of .said Lot 13,

THENCE North 20 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 12,
Block 26;
THENCE East a distance of 250 feet to'the Southeast corner of
said Lot 8, Block 26
THENCE South 20 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. That the City Secretary-Treasurer shall attest such quit claim
deed, affixing the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
On motion of Commissioner Forrest , seconded by
Commissioner Baker , the foregoing Resolution was approved
and passed this 14ih day of -___APril 1955, by the following vote:
