TO THE LUBBOCK AUTO COMPANY, A CORPORATION, A QUIT CLAIM DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO THAT PORTION OF AVENUE B DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS RESOLUTION. i WHEREAS, that part and portion of Avenue B North of the intersection of Avenue .B and.5th Street in the City of Lubbock, and more particularly herein after described iss not being used and will not in the future be used or needed for highway and street purposes; and, WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that the Lubbock Auto Company, a corporation, is the owner of the land adjoining the lands hereinafter described and that it would be to the public interest to quit claim the interest of the City of Lubbock to the Lubbock Auto Company, a cor- por�tipn; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized anddirected to execute on behalf of the City of Lubbock_to the Lubbock Auto Company-, it corporation, y a gidit claim deed to the property described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 13 Block 14, Orig- inal Town, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE East a distance of 60.0 feet.along the projection of the North line of 5th Street to a point; THENCE North.450 34T 451t West a 'distance of 85. 80 feet to a point in the East line of Lot 15, Block 14, O.T. ; THENCE South along the East line of Lots 15, 14, and 13, Block 14, O.T. to the POINT OF BEGINNING, Containing 2119.8 square feet. SECTION 2. That the City..Secretary-Treasurer shall attest such quit claim deed, affixing the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto. SECTION 3. That after such deed has been duly- executed and property attested, the same shall be delivered to the Lubbock Auto Company upon pay- ment by such company to the City of Lubbock the amount of One Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-one and 88/100 ($1, 271.88) Dollars.
