WHEREAS, the tract of land more particularly described in the body of Dect14,m9 this resolution is of no use or benefit to the City of Lubbock insofar as right- . J. Kerley, Jr, and R. B. f i le. Kerley, who are the owners of the land adjacent to such tract of land; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK. j SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby autha�ized and directed to exe- cute on behalf of the City of Lubbock to B. .J. Kerley. Jr, and R. B.. Kerley, a warranty deed conveying the following described tract of land: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Block 64, Roberts and McWhorter Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock"County, Texas; THENCE East a distance of 13.6 feet to a point; THENCE South a distance of 38. 88 feet to a point; THENCE Southwesterly (South 80 21, West) a distance of 94.95 feet to a point in the East line of said Block 64; THENCE North along the East line of said Block.64 a distance of 132.86 feet to the POINT'..OF BEGINNING. j SECTION 2.
