RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMWTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW.
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
!Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Highland Place 3rd Installment made arrangements
for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said
subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the' recording of the
,subdivision plat of a rtion bf Highland Place 3rd Installment, including the
following streets and avenues:
)zj Quaker Avenue from its intersection with the P.C. of curve south side of 37th
Street to its intersection with the North Property Line alley south of 37th Street,
down and designated as Unit Number N-S 51.
Quaker Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of alley north
f 37th Street, to its intersection with the P.C. of curve north side of 37th Stree ,
mown and designated as Unit Number N-S 52.
�, 7th Street from its intersection with the West Gutter Line of Orlando Avenue to
fits intersection with &`line 311 W. of East Property Line of Quaker Avenue,
awn and designated as Unit Number N-S 53. i
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets and/or avenues was performed under the supervision of the City
engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and
Mound to have been constructed in accordance with city specifications and in
occordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK,, TEXAS
I.
That the improvements-on said portions of the abovementioned streets
and avenues be, and th®- same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and is
hereby authorized to direct payment of City's portion.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have exuuined the paving improvements constructed by Warren &
Purtell Incorporated under their contract with the Subdividor
of Highland Place 3rd Installment in accordance with Ordinance No.
2331 and find that the improvements on the streets and avenues
designated as New Subdivision Unit No. 51, 52 and 53, as listed
on the attached final estimate sheets to have,been completed in
accordance with plans and specifications on said streets and
avenues, and recommend the payment to the contractor the amount
shorn on the attached. aonsolidated final estimate sheet as being
due him form the City of Lubbock.
