HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 082654C - Right Of Way Easement - State Of Texas - Section 12 Block A - 08_26_1954 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Highway Department proposes to construct and pave a farm to market road on North College Avenue extended to conform to the approved Master Thoroughfare Plan of. the City of Lubbock and a wider right-of-way is required abutting a quarter section of land owned by the City of Lubbock and the Commission finds that such construction would be in the public interest; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COHIISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor BE, and he is authorized and directed to execute a Right 8f Way Easement to the State of Texas, covering a strip of land of the entire East side of the North One Huiidred Sixty (160) acres of the Northeast part of Section Twelve (12), Block A, less about three-tenths (3/10) of an acre be- longing to Lubbock County, said strip of land being more particularly des- cribed by metes and bounds in the Easement submitted by the Highway Depart- ment for execution. This Resolution passed by unanimous vote of the City Commission this 26th day of August, 1954.
