RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION DIRECTING ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND FILE EST DIATES, ROLLS, ETC.
IIN CONNECTION WITH PROPOSED PAVEMENT WIDENING AND CURBING -ON IDALOU ROAD FROM
OAK AVENUE TO TEAK AVENUE IN THE CITY OF' LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
ox7l-iEREAS, the Governing Body of the City of Lubbock on the 23rd of July,
1953, has ordered and provided for the improvement and widening of Idalou Road
from Oak Avenue to Teak Avenue and agreement and arrangement therefor has been
made and entered into by the City of Lubbock with Frank B. Hodkes ,
and it is proposed to make and levy assessments against abutting property and the
owners thereof and others for a portion of the cost of such improvements.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COAMZSSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK..
TEXAS, THAT:
I.
The Engineer of the City be, and he is hereby directed to prepare and
file with the City estimates showing cost of improvements, showing the description
of the property abutting said portion of Idalou Road with the names of the owners
of such property and the amounts proposed to be assessed against each parcel of
property showing other matters and things, it being specially provided, however,
that any mistake in such estimates or in amounts and in the descriptions of
property or names of owners shall in no wise affect, invalidate or impair any
assessment which may be levied.

Such estimates, rolls and statements shall show all information required
to be shown thereon by the proceedings of the City relating to such improvements
and the law and charter with amendments in force in the City, and by the pro—
visions of Article 1105B, Revised Civil Statues of Texas as amended by Chapter
281, Acts of the 52nd Legislature.
This resolution shall take effect: and be in force from and after its
passage.
