HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 091053D - Accept Title - From Congregation Shaareth Israel - 6000 Sq Ft, Cemetery - 09_10_1953 �RESOLUTIGI V,MRFJIS, there exists the following described tract approximately 6000 square feet in area w ithin'the limits of the Lubbock City Cemetery which is owned by the Congregation Shaareth Israel, a Corporation: All of the lots of Block 1; Lots 1 through 7 inclusive and Lots 10, ll, and 14 of Block 2; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Block 3; Lots 2 through 14 inclusive of Block 4; all of the lots in Block 5; Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 10a, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 1$ of Block 6; and Lots 1 and 3 through 41 inclusive of Filock 7 of the Feldman Memorial Subdivision of Block 30 of Lubbock Cemetery as shown ai, the attached plat. It being the intention to describe the property which has` aot been sold by the Congregation Shaareth Israel. �rHEl AS, this Corporation has requested that the area be conveyed to the City for permanent care with the understanding that when the grave spaces in this tract are sold b the City, the resent rice of 4100 per r by the y, p p p grave space be maintains until changes are rude in the price of other lots in the cemetery, and that this tract be reserved for burial of members of the Jewish Faith. MY) THEREFORE BE IL RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO11,2,1ISSION OF.THE CITY OF LUBBOCK that the City accept title to the above described property, subject to all terms and conditions herein set out above.
