RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WIDENING ACID PAVING I1,'ROVEIMITS ON AVENUE "M«
FROM 13TH STREET TO 19TH STR=, AP?D ORDERING THE ISSUAYGE OF PAVING GXPITLVICATFS
IN EVIDENCE OF ASSFSSI,0ITS LEVIED.

i WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improve-
/7 ment ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with J. R. Fanning,
i known as GWO 592, for the making and construction of widening and paving
( improvements on portions of Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue K. Texas Avenue and 15th
Street in said city including among others the following:
Avenue M from its intersection with the South Gutter Line of 13th Street to its
intersection with the North Gutter Line of 16th Street, known and designated as
Unit 1186-A.
Avenue 11from its intersection with the South Gutter Line of 16th Street to its
intersection with the North Gutter Line of 19th Street, known and designated as
Unit 1186.
AI<D WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovemention-
ed avenue have been ins ected and found to have been constructed in terms of said
contract (G.W.O. No.5925.
Th' ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C012�IISSION 07 THE CITY OF LUBBOuK,
TEXAS:

That, the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned avenue be,
and the same are hereby accepted.
II..
THAT, the Mayor and the City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed
to execute and deliver certificates in Evidence of the assessments levied against
the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of Avenue "011 as listed
above and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the
manner provided in said contract and the proceedings, with reference to said im-
provements and assessments, whereby such assessments were levied.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
