RESOLUTION ACCEPTING I14PROVDMTS ON .PCFTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE
OF ASSESSEENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS
� , the City of Lubbock heretofore passes various street improve—
ment ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with Warren & Purtell,
G� Inc. (G.W.O. 675) for the making and construction of street improvements on
• portions of numerous streets and/or avenues in said City including among others
the following:
48th Street from its intersection with the West Paving Line of Avenue Q, to its
intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue S, known and designated as
Unit No. 1053.
38th Street from its intersection with ,the West Property Line of Elgin Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue, known and
designated as Unit No. 1343.
37th Street from its intersection with the West Froperty line of Avenue V to its
intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue W, known and designated as
Unit "No. 1360.
Ithaca Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 23rd Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 24th Street, known and
designated as Unit No. 1372. ,,
23rd Street from its intersection with the East Gutter Line of Ithaca Avenue to
its intersection with the East Property Line of Joliet Avenue (North), known
and designated as Unit No. 1373.
24th.Street from its intersection with the West Gutter Line of Indiana Avenue to
its intersection with the East Property Line of Joliet Avenue, known and desig—
nated as Unit No. 1374.
40th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Orlando Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Quaker Avenue, known and
designated as Unit No. 1376.
43rd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue S to its
intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue T,, known and designated as
Unit No. 1387.
41st Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue T to its
intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue U, known and designated as
Unit No. 1389.
38th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue S to its
intersection with the East Property Line of Jarrett Addition, known and designated
as Unit No. 1391.
31st Street from its intersection with tho West Property Line of Peoria Avenue to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Quaker Avenuep known and desig—
nated as Unit No. 1392.

Joliet Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 27th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 28th Street, known and
designated as Unit No. 1393.
32nd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Peoria Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Quaker Avenue, known and `
designated as Unit No. 1396.
Kenosha Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 24th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 26th Streets known and'desig—
nated as Unit No. 1403.
36th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Hartford Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Indiana Avenue, known and
designated as Unit No. 14.07.
Ivory Avenue from its intersection with the South Paving Line of East 34th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 35th Street, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 1/+08.
Ivory Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of East 35th
Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of East 36th Street,
known and designated as Unit No. 1409.
Ivory Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of East 36th
Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of East 37th Street,
known and designated as Unit No. 1410.
King ,Avenue from its intersection with the South Paving Line of East 34th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of East 35th Street, known and
designated as Unit No. 1411.
King Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of East 35th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of East 36th Street, known and
designated as Unit No. 1412.
King Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of East 36th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of East 37th Street, known and
designated as Unit No. 1413,
East .35th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Ivory Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of King Avenue, known and
designated as Unit No. 1414..
East 36th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Ivory Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of King Avenue, known and desig-
nated as a part of Unit No. 1415.
East 37th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Ivory &venue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Bing Avenue., known and
designated as Unit No. 1416.
f AND WHERE9S, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementione
�-- streets and avenues have been inspected and foundito have been constructed in
accordance with terms of said contract (G.W.O. 675).

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
and avenues be, and the same are hereby accepted.
II.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed
to exectite and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied
against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portion of streets and
avenues listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance with
law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference.
to said improvements and assessments where such assessments were levied., and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to write a letter=leasing money held in escrow
to be paid the contractor for improvements where abutting property was not
assessed.
III. I
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
